Does the Academy offer more than one class per year?
No. The 2011 Class will be offered in the fall to better coordinate with the beginning of the 2012 political season.
Is the Academy a partisan program?
No. It is non-partisan. It is not neutral, though, on many issues. The Academy believes that a vibrant economy depends on a healthy business climate and structures curriculum accordingly.
How many students are in each class?
Class size is eight. The Academy focuses on quality—in students selected, curriculum and instructors.
Is the tuition due when the application is submitted?
We would tike to receive payment no later than the Friday before the first class ; however, flexible payment plans are available.
Does the class have homework assignments?
Yes. The homework assigned is spread out over the 8-week course and should not take a lot of personal time to complete.
What are the benefits of taking this class?

Are classes always in the evening?
Yes. Classes are from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m., usually 2 days a week over a 9-week period. Refreshments are available throughout the evening.
What is the dress code?
There is no official dress code. We do encourage business casual. You will be playing the role of a community leader throughout the class and want to present yourself in a positive, professional manner.
